Confident and independent outdoorsman

Peyton (9258)

Peyton is an independent young guy who knows who he is! One of the things he’s most proud of, in fact, is “being me.” A true outdoorsman, Peyton’s idea of a perfect weekend is getting to go out in the woods and stay a couple nights in the wilderness! He especially enjoys hunting and fishing, and is hopeful for an active adoptive family that likes the great outdoors as much as he does!

When Peyton’s not outdoors, he likes to hit the gym for some weightlifting. He’s getting stronger every day, and hopes to put that strength to use on some sports teams in high school. His Christian faith is important to him, so Peyton hopes for a family that attends church.

Peyton would do well in either a one-parent or two-parent home, although he has stated that he would like to have a mom and a dad. He should be the only child in the home, so that he gets plenty of attention and support. Peyton will thrive in a home full of love and patience, with parents who can maintain clear, consistent boundaries while also offering encouragement and opportunities for growth. Interested families should understand the impact trauma can have on children.
