A positively positive and funny teen

Lucas (9243)

If there’s one word to describe Lucas it’s definitely positivity! He’s always trying to find the best way to look at any situation and opens up more and more every day to those he cares about. He is extremely funny and loves nothing more than making people laugh! Lucas tries his best at everything he does, whether it’s school or coming up with even funnier jokes.

While it’s hard to pick a favorite animal, he thinks turtles are the best…especially when “they’re babies and their heads are like two times the size of their bodies.” He enjoys the outdoors and likes to spend a day outside maybe having a picnic, watching the birds, or going for a swim!

Lucas would do well in either a one- or two-parent home and would do best as the youngest child so he gets plenty of attention and support. He would like an older sibling who can help set a good example for him. He thinks he’d prefer to live in the city — as long as he can still visit the country ponds where the turtles are! Parents who are understanding, patient and strong communicators are ideal. Interested families should understand the impact trauma can have on children, and be willing to make a lifelong commitment to Lucas.
