Strong, resilient, and creative

Laci (9505)

Laci will tell you she’s a typical teenager whose determination is going to take her far! A perfect day for her would include hitting up Starbucks, eating some sushi, and scrolling through TikTok — sounds fun, doesn’t it? She’s a huge reader and has read all the Harry Potter and Percy Jackson books…some of them more than once! Laci is very involved at school and has participated in several clubs and the student council. She even took the initiative to start a club focused on Japanese culture and anime. She spends her weekends volunteering in the nursery at her local church or working hard at her job. Intuitive and intelligent, Laci thrives when she knows she’s receiving the support and stability she needs as she prepares for young adulthood.

Laci would do well in either a one- or two-parent home and would love a forever family that came with brothers or sisters. She’s especially loving and nurturing with babies and toddlers (which makes her the ideal volunteer in that church nursery!). She would appreciate parents who both value her independence and help her prepare for her future while also providing love and support at home. Parents who make her feel appreciated and valued are ideal.  Laci has siblings with whom she wants to remain in contact; these relationships are important to her, and should be encouraged by adoptive parents. She thrives in a calm, patient environment with parents who give her space and also work to connect with her. Interested families should understand the impact trauma can have on children.
