Wants to play all the sports

Keileigh is an athletic young lady who loves being silly! She can take a bit to warm up to people but once she does, she loves sharing time with people she cares about. She’s played just about every sport there is out there and enjoyed wrestling, softball, volleyball, even football! If there’s a sport Keileigh can try, she’s definitely not saying no! (That includes cheerleading and gymnastics, which are her current faves!)

She enjoys the arts almost as much as she does sports and likes to spend a day painting or any activity where she can sing her favorite country songs. Keileigh is a big fan of animals, and would love to live in the country with lots of animals around (especially horses!).

Keileigh would do best in a two-parent home that is child-centered and where she can receive plenty of individualized attention and support. If there are other children in the home, Keileigh should be the youngest, and the other children should be more independent than she is. She will thrive in a family that sees her as the loveable and worthwhile child that she is, and delights in her being part of their family. She likes to do a lot of activities so parents who encourage those extracurriculars and show up to cheer her on are ideal. Parents should also be able to advocate for what Keileigh needs to be successful in an educational setting. She will need patience during the transition into a forever home. Interested families should be well-educated in trauma-informed care, and understand the impact trauma can have on children.
