Loves helping others

Kai (9334)

Kai is a caregiver through and through, he’s always looking for people to help! He sets time aside during school when he’ll go to the special needs classes to see if he can help with anything and he always looks after those students when they’re walking around school! He wants to continue his helping ways after he graduates and is looking into joining the local police academy to serve his town any way he can.

He’s very much a competitor and has participated in basketball, soccer, and even run track! He’s done different races and even tried the discus throw. In school, he’s learning how to play the clarinet and really enjoying his band classes. Kai would love to, if his police academy dreams change, join the NBA!

Kai would do well in either a one or two-parent home and would love a forever family that came with other children who are a little more independent and don’t need quite as much one-on-one time. He would enjoy a family that came with pets. He will thrive during a patient transition with parents who take the time to ensure he’s comfortable and make communication a priority. Interested families should understand the impact trauma can have on children.
