Bonded brothers who love sports

Eliah and Peyton (9140AC)

Follow the leader: it’s Eliah! He’s a natural leader and gifted athlete. He’s a strong cross-country runner and volunteers as a junior leader at his local Boys & Girls club. Friends are super important to Eliah, and he is always outside playing football or kickball with peers in his neighborhood. Some of the things Eliah likes best are a good home-cooked meal, playing video games, watching movies, and sports. He’s a thoughtful kid and gets along well with others.

When Peyton feels safe and can be himself, he’s a sweet, affectionate kid who enjoys being the “baby” of the family! A natural athlete who enjoys baseball and wrestling, Peyton also likes to play video games or go camping. He is hopeful for a family with a big yard – plenty of space for a trampoline and maybe even a swimming pool! Some of Peyton’s favorite things are playing, drawing, and telling a good story!

The ideal family will take both brothers, as they have a strong bond with each other. They are excited about being adopted and are eager for security, safety, and love. The boys thrive with structure, and there should be clear expectations and boundaries in place. They respond well to affection in their foster home, but know to respect firm rules set in place. It’s important that parents maintain authority while still being supportive. Potential parents should have some parenting experience that will sustain the family through the challenges of raising teenagers. All three boys are quite athletic, and would benefit being in extracurricular activities like sports or clubs. Interested families should understand the impact that trauma can have on children. It would be best if the boys’ family has experience with TBRI and trauma-informed parenting.
