Works hard at doing his best
Davon (9233A)In Davon’s own words, he’s “a good kid and I work hard to do my best!” Impossible to argue with that! He loves going to the gym, especially when he gets to hop in the pool and do some laps. He’s proud of how much faster he gets every time! His favorite part might be the delicious fruit cups he gets to enjoy afterward, though.
Davon is a great student and works hard on his spelling and math – he’s always trying to do better today than he did yesterday! He is a big jokester and always trying to crack people up – and he loves learning new jokes to add to his repertoire! And if there’s one thing he really loves, it’s dogs – if it were up to Davon, he would have an adoptive family and a dog, all of whom would show him unconditional love and security.
Davon would do well in either a one-parent or two-parent home and would do best in a home without other children. If there are other children in the home, they need to be older by several years, so Davon can get all the attention he deserves.
Parents should be willing to help Davon with any educational needs he may have to help him achieve his goals. Davon will thrive in a home with consistent rules and boundaries, with parents who can demonstrate patience and provide ample supervision. Interested families should understand the impact trauma can have on children.
