Did you know one of Bethany’s strengths is how easily she makes friends? It’s true–she’s empathetic, but best of all is she’s easy to talk to. What’s also great about Bethany is she is open and honest with those she trusts.
A good day for Bethany is spent with friends, doing things like going to the mall, shopping and having fun. Sports are important to her too, as Bethany is athletic and plays basketball, soccer, and volleyball. She has a creative side, too, and is interested in painting and drawing.
So when you get to know her, you’ll find Bethany is a delight to talk to, and can be a real comedian! She’ll make you laugh all day long. What does she like to talk about? Well, Bethany likes music, TV shows, and food. You’ll be taken care of too, as she is always looking out for her friends and family.
Bethany would do best in a two-parent home with strong parents, and at least one female caregiver. It’s important that parents show lots of patience, support, and understanding for Bethany. When given supervision and made to feel safe and taken care of in a forever home, Bethany will thrive. Families need to be willing to take on any therapeutic needs she’ll have in the future. It is important that interested families understand the impact trauma has on children.
