Loves learning how things work

Alexander (8976)

See Alex on WNDU’s “Wednesday’s Child” Segment

Alex is calm, laid-back, and good-natured. He’s an inquisitive teen who wants to know all about, well, everything! There’s not much he doesn’t enjoy learning about – other than math! Give him a few episodes of “Modern Marvels,” and Alex is happy as can be. This is a teen with a technology-focused brain – he can dismantle just about anything and then put it back together! Alex loves tinkering with old electronics and computers.

He enjoys a wide range of activities, from helping out with animals to cooking and sewing. Alex especially enjoys being outdoors, and would love to go turkey hunting some day. He also wants to earn a scholarship to Notre Dame (go Fighting Irish!).

Alex would do well in any type of family – he gets along well with anybody – as long as there is ample supervision in place. He will thrive in a stable, structured environment full of love and support that helps him feel safe.

And this guy loves to learn! It would be ideal if he had parents who are interested in teaching and helping Alex experience new things. Education should be a priority in Alex’s adoptive family, and accept the therapeutic needs he may have in the future. Interested families should understand the impact trauma can have on children.
