If there’s one thing “K” wants you to know about her, it’s that she’s a complete athlete! She’ll try just about any sport but she really excels on the basketball court. She’s made a ton of friends on the team and learned what it takes to be a leader. “K” also wants you to know that she’s one of the best rappers out there! She’s got a ton of rhymes and is happy to bust them out. She’s got great dance moves and you can often find her dancing around listening to her favorite songs!
“K” would do well in either a two-parent home or a single-parent home with supports. It would be best if she is the only child in the home, so that she receives plenty of attention and support. If there are other children in the home, they should be older by at least a few years. She would benefit from strong role models or mentors who can model positive behaviors and appropriate communication. “K” would like to remain in-state as her siblings are in Indiana, and she wants to maintain some contact with them. Interested families should understand the impact that trauma can have on children.
