Wants s'more marshmallows

“A” is a sweet girl who loves to dance! She’ll dance to just about anything and wants to join a dance team when she gets a little older! She’s kind to everyone she meets and wants prospective families to know how nice she can be. “A” likes to spend an afternoon watching YouTube seeing what kind of cool videos she can find. She particularly likes videos that are about science or animals — she loves learning about them! She’s a natural-born helper and enjoys helping the other kids out at school when they don’t know something she’s learned. If she could go anywhere in the world she’d love to get to visit Holiday World and Disney World! But, “A” also recently got the chance to go camping, and really enjoyed that too — especially the roasting marshmallows part!

“A” would do well in either a one-parent or two-parent home, and it is preferred that she be the only child in the home, so she gets plenty of attention, supervision, and support. If there are other children in the home, she needs to be the youngest by several years, and the other older children should be female. Families with male children are unlikely to be considered at this time. “A” will thrive with a patient family, and with parents who can spend plenty of one-on-one time with her. It is important to “A” that she be allowed to maintain some contact with her siblings, as those are essential relationships for her. Families that like to do activities together are ideal. Interested families should understand the impact trauma can have on children, and ideally, they should have experience with trauma-informed parenting.
