National Adoption Month is celebrated every November, and is intended to honor adoptive families as well as raise awareness of the need for adoptive homes for waiting youth in foster care.

Vigo County Adoption Celebration

Vigo County Indiana DCS and the Vigo County Courts are hosting an Adoption Celebration Event on November 4, 2023. This event is open to all families in Vigo County who have adopted in 2023, or will be adopting in 2023.

All families in Vigo Co. who adopted in 2023 are invited to an Adoption Celebration at the Terre Haute Children’s Museum! Come enjoy a pancake breakfast and free admission to the museum!
