This training explores the Empowering Principles of the TBRI Model. TBRI® consists of three sets of harmonious principles: Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting. The Empowering Principles describe the attention to addressing the physical needs of a child as well as their felt safety. Empowering principles help children learn important skills like self-regulation.
Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is a therapeutic model that trains caregivers to provide effective support and treatment for at-risk children. TBRI has been applied in orphanages, courts, residential treatment facilities, group homes, foster and adoptive homes, churches, and schools.
This will be facilitated via Microsoft Teams. It is recommended that you attend both Part 1 and Part 2.
