The Parents of Teens Virtual Support Group is for adoptive and foster parents of teenagers looking to make connections and build a network of support with other parents in a similar stage of life. This Support Group is being offered by CASE.

This 6-session virtual support group will be held on the following Wednesdays (drop-in): Sept. 20th, Sept. 27th, Oct. 4th, Oct. 11th, Oct. 18th, and Oct. 25th. This is a drop-in group and participation at every session is not required. Please note, certificates of attendance will not be provided.
Facilitated by Mari Itzkowitz of the Center for Adoption Support & Education (CASE). Mari is the Director of Clinical Services at CASE and has over 20 years of experience providing services to families who have adopted. In addition to providing supervision to the CASE Clinical Team, Mari provides individual, family and group therapy to adopted children, teens, adults and their families, as well as pre-adoption therapy for children and families moving toward finalization. Her specialties are grief and loss and attachment issues. Mari is also a leader of the CASE Training Team, providing training and education to adoption, child welfare, mental health and school professionals as well as parent groups, both locally and nationally.
