The Parenting Adolescents Series, focusing on the specific challenges and “stuck spots” for adolescent adoptees and strategies for parents to support their teens, will be held via Zoom on Wednesdays (Sept. 28th, Oct. 5th, Oct. 12th, Oct. 19th, Oct. 26th, Nov. 2nd) from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm EST. The series will lead off with a webinar and then subsequent parent support group meetings.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. If you register for the first session you will be automatically registered for all 6 sessions. Please note this webinar will not be recorded.
Presenter: Debbie Riley, LCMFT, CEO and co-founder of the Center for Adoption Support and Education, co-author of Beneath the Mask: Understanding Adopted Teens. A nationally recognized adoption expert and dynamic public speaker, Ms. Riley is a licensed marriage and family therapist with 40 years of professional experience, including extensive health care management, administrative expertise, designing and developing nationally acclaimed adoption-competent programs, direct delivery of specialized counseling services which affords her the broad knowledge and nationally respected expertise needed to promote mental health training, child advocacy and public policy development.
