Mya Zavaleta is a nature occupational therapist who empowers families to understand how to support their children’s big feelings and some signs of sensory processing difficulties. She will share a bit of her own adoption story and how nature has impacted her personal wellbeing. Mya will walk through examples of what ecotherapy looks like “in the wild” as she supports her young clients outdoors and how attendees can apply strategies and shift mindsets at home.
